Both race events are now full, 27 days following the event opening for registration on the 1st November last. The event organisers would like to thank all of those who have registered for our half marathon and 10K races for the 5th July 2025.

The Achill Half Marathon & 10K event takes place annually on the first Saturday of July on Achill Island, Co. Mayo, on the west coast of Ireland. One of Ireland's most scenic destinations, Achill offers hills, winds, and sometimes a bit of rain to challenge runners and walkers on a circular half-marathon (13.1 miles / 21km) or 10K route. The event starts and finishes in the village of Keel, next to the Blue Flag beach. Places are limited - the 2024 event sold out by February - so register early for the 2025 event.
